Mrs. Wendy Williams Obituary

Mrs. Wendy Williams, 54 of St. Pauls, NC peacefully passed Monday, February 8, 2021.  Funeral services will be Saturary, February 20, 2021 at 11:00 am 828 Ballance Farm Rd., St. Pauls, NC.  Viewing: Friday 1:00 - 7:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial:  Malloy Grove Freewill Cemetery, St. Pauls, NC

On Monday, February 8th, at 11:25 pm Wendy Sophia Colvin Williams, a loving wife , mother and sister of three children passed away at age 54.  Wendy was born on October 22, 1966, in Lumberton, NC raised in St. Pauls whereshe lived until her death to the late Dossie and Lela Bell Colvin and departed thi life on February 8th , 2021.

She dedicated her life to the Lord at an early age and she was an active member at Malloy's Grove Freewill Church in Parkton, NC.  Wendy served on many committees at the church, Pastor Aide, Florist, Photography, Vacation Bible School van assistant, and Ladies Auxiliary.

She received an Associate of Business Education from the Robeson Community college of Lumberton, NC.  Wendy works at Robeson County Water Department for many years in the field and office, Smithfield accountant department and a great employee at Dollar Tree in Fayetteville, NC,  In May 1999, she married Jack Williams.  They raised two sons, Isaiah Williams and Demetrece Smith.

Wendy loved her husband Jack and she made sure he was pleased at all times.  Jack called Wendy (Hunni), she was very vibrant and had high confidence in herself.  When she walked into a room she owned it.  Wendy had a passion for makeup and taught all her nieces how to apply it.  Wendy loves children, every year she would have the huge annual Easter egg hunt.  She was a great fan of R. Kelly and Prince.  Wendy loves to travel and dine out especially if you were paying...(lol), she had a passion for reading novels.  She never met a stranger.  Wendy had a beautiful soul and will be missed by so many, she never allows the issuers of the world to hold her down.

Wendy was prececeded in death by her parents, Dossie and Lela Bell Colvin, Inlaws Jp and Hattie Council.  Wendy was raised by her mom cause her dad died when she was 18 months old.  Wendy was the youngest of her siblings called (Winnie da pooh).  She is survived by her husband Jack Williams and father -in-law Zelma Williams of the home.

Children, Three sons...Isaiah Williams (Laqonta) of Mebane, NC, Demetrece Smith (Laveriius) of St. Pauls, Chris Salvetti of Durdam, NC, Daughters...Selina Harris of Raeford, NC, Four Goddaughters, Aries Wise of Connecticutt, Lataasha Brown of Raliegh, NC, Alima McIntire of Durham NC, Alisha (muffin) Johnson a great-grandniece.

One brother, Dossie Colvin and three sisters: Lillie Bell, Aubrey Marie and Robin Denise Colvin all of St. Pauls, NC, One sister/cousin, Sarah Shipman, Daisy Smith and Betty McDowell of St, Pauls, NC, Special brothers: William Sanders, Fredrick Chappel, Waltr Williams, Tony Smith and James James Shipman.
