Mr. Daniel Lee, 84 of Tar Heel, NC peacefully passed on Saturday, February 6, 2021. Public Viewing: Saturday, February 13, 2021 will be 11:30 - 1:30 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Private Viewing for the family will be at 2:00 pm.

Mr. Daniel Lee, 84, devoted husband, father and friend, departed this life on Saturday, February 6, 2021. Daniel was born to the union of E. L. Lee and Leona Caldeleugh in Portageville, Missouri. Daniel was the oldest of three children. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Lee and sister, Mary Lee.
He moved to St. Louis, Missouri in September, 1994 and joined the Greater Fairfax Missionary Baptist Church, where he srved under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Haymond Fortenberry. There he served as Chairman of Benevolence, Mission Chaplain, Male Chorus. Adult Sunday School Teacher and Deacon.
Daniel met and married his wife, Fay in St. Louis on June 24, 2002. In August, 2016 Daniel and Fay relocated to North Carolina and joined Faith Tabernacle Christian Center under the leadership of Pastors Earl and Denise Goings. He served as parking lot attendant and security until his health failed.
Daniel was a faithful servant and a strong Christian and shared his faith with everyone he met. Daniel loved his wife with all his heart. He enjoyed talking, telling jokes and working outdoors.
He leaves to cherish: his wife, Fay Lee; his son, Frankie McIntosh of Benton Harbor, Michigan; his daughter, Janet Rowe-Smith of Marion, Indiana; two stepsons, Derek Richardson (Tameka) and Marquis Richardson both of North Carolina; one sister-in-law, Juanita daniels of St. Louis; one special nieces who helped during his illness, Shameka Green; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
