Mrs. Mary Watson passed on Saturday, January 19, 2019. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 26, 2019, 1:00 pm at the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 2917 E. Great Marsh Church Road, St. Pauls, N.C. Reverend Mark Powell, Officiating. Visitation is Friday, January 25, 2019, 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. The family will be receiving family and friends at Mosey and Alvin Currie home, 592 King Rd., St. Pauls, NC 28384

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Watson and her brothers, Jack King, Will King and David King.

Mrs. Mary is survived by her daughters: Mocey Currie (Alvin) of St. Pauls, North Carolina, Mae Glass of St. Pauls, North Carolina,Jamie Washington (Michael) of Lumberton, North Carolina and Phoylyne Watson of Fayetteville, North Carolina, two step-daughters, Phyllis Taylor (Richard), Pauls Church (Ronald) of Wilmington, Delware. Her siblings, Evelyn Hayes of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Elsie Washington of Lumberton, North Carolina and Leslie King of Detroit, Michigan, brother-in-law, Herman Watson of Dublin, North Carolina, sister-in-law, Annie Watson of Wilmington, Delaware; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.
