James Bordeaux

Mr. James Bordeaux, 72 of White Oak, NC peacefully passed on Saturday, March 7, 2020.  Funeral services will be Saturday, March 14, 2020, 1:00 pm at First New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 5146 River Road, White Oak, NC  28399.  Viewing: Friday 1-6 pm at the Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial:  First New Light Cemetery, White Oak, NC.  The family will receive family and friends at 61 Margaret A Drive, White Oak, NC  28399.

James Bordueax "Hot Rod" was born, June 23, 1947 to the late Margaret Ann Baxley Bordeaux and Abraham Bordeaux, Sr. in Bladen County.  He departed this life on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at West Bladen Assistant Living, Bladenboro, North Carolina.

James attended public school in Bladen County.  He joined First New Light Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and later renewed his fellowship with the church.  He worked several years in landscaping and logging.  He was a member of the senior club at First New Light Missionary Baptist Church.

James leaves to cherish his memories:  a brother, Johnnie Bordeaux, Sr. of White Oak, NC, a sister, Gertrude Bordeaux of Englewood, New Jersey, a very special host of LOVING CARE TAKERS, Charlene (Willie) Brims, Christine (Raymond) Shaw, Felicia, Johnnie Jr., Deirdra (Reggie) Davis, Ashley, LaTonya, Deshond, Justin, Jasmine, Danasha, Faith, Kaylee and Rylee.  A host of neices and nephews.
