On Tuesday, March 5, 2024, Beulah Jane Rozier of St. Pauls, North Carolina received her wings and went peacefully into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at Bladen County Hospital.
Beulah was born on December 27, 1950, to the late Donnie Pone and Irene Burden-Pone. She attended Bladen Central School. Later in life, she received her high school GED from Robeson Community College. She dedicated 15 years working with Allied Security in St. Pauls, North Carolina.
She began her Christian journey at Millers Chapel United Methodist Church. She remained a dedicated member serving on the financial committee, senior choir, and in the children's ministry.
Beulah was preceded in death by her mother and father; her three brothers, Donnie Pone, Jr., Douglas Pone, and Harold Murphy; and her grandson, James “Doc” Rozier.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her three daughters, Sandra Pone (Lorenzo), Connie Purdie (Jerome) and Lenora Baylor; her two sons, Ryan Pone (Charlene) and James Rozier (Kendra); her sister, Edna Whitted; her four brothers, Colon, Carl Lee, Jerome and Dave Pone; her sister-in-law, Helen Pone; 15 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
