Baby Luna M. Graham, 2 of Fayetteville, NC peacefully passed on Sunday, April 4, 2021. Graveside services will be Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Rockfish Memorial Park, 4017 Gillespie St, Fayetteville, NC 28306. Viewing: Saturday 1:00 - 6:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.
Luna Marki Graham, born February 26, 2019 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina and departed this life on April 3, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Luna was born to Marquela Leos and Lynell Graham both of Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Luna, also meaning moon, was a miracle baby. The doctors said she did not have any chance of survival due to her sickness called Trisomy 18. Trisomy, also known as Edwards Syndrome, is a rare yet fatal condition in which the chromosomes have an abnormality and often results in stillbirth or death of an infant. Luna has gone through six major surgeries. Luna was fed through a J/G tube. Even though Luna had Trisomy, she beat all odds that were against her, growing bigger and stronger everyday!
Luna was preceded in death by her: oldest sister, Aria Lanique Leos, uncle, Elliot Shelton, aunt. Shawnte Snell; maternal great grandparents, Ruth and Wilber Floyd; Paternal grandparents, Edward Shelton and Edward Leos.
Luna is survived by her siblings, Maria Juarez Leos, Fabian Jurez Leos, Imara Juarez Leos, Gesir Eldridge and Malachi Graham, Marquese Malone, Tyricke Graham, Laila Graham; grandparents, Helene and Mark Leos, Linda Graham Montgomery and Cleveland Montgomery; great grandparents, Georgianna Graham Salters, Henry Salters and Alice Betters; aunts and uncles, Caprice Jackson, Stacie Palmer, Chaz Palmer, Anitria Leos, Tiuna Leos, Kiara Leos, Mark Leos, II, Kya French, K'la Floyd, Chase Anderson, Giovanna Floyd, Vanessa Veal, Lisa Wheeler, Latoya Snell, Bobbi Jo Strickland, Terrence Snell, Yolanda Snell, Alyssa Means and Treva Eilam; and a host of cousin, aunts, uncles and friends,
