Mr. Lacy Shaw, 69, of Rex N.C. passed away March 19, 2018. 

Funeral Service: Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 3pm

Interment:            Saint John Cemetery, Shannon NC

The family will receive friends at the home of his wife, Mrs. Velma Shaw,  806 New Bethel Church Rd, Rex N.C

Deacon Shaw is preceeded in death by his parents, Lee Earl and Marie Shaw; a brother, George Clayton Shaw and a sister, Doris Blanks.

He leaves a legacy of wisdom and love to his beloved wife of 47 years, Velma Ruth Shaw; five children, Pamela Marie Shaw of Rex, North Carolina, Charles Bernard Shaw of Rex, North Carolina and Myra Jean Sinclair of New Bern, Lee Ann Graham (Derrick) of Fayetteville, North carolina and Dimietric Shae Rozier (Tara) of St. Pauls, North Carolina; eleven grandchildren, Kiah, Taryn, Brittany, Brae, Jordon, Leah, Makayla, Haylee, Kaleb, Joshua and Julia; one great grandson, Mason; two brothers, Lee Earl Shaw, Jr. of Laurinburg, North Carolina and Clifton Shaw (Toni Woods) of Buffalo, New York; four sisters, Mattie Shaw Elliott of Rochester, New York, Mary Ellen Shaw of Rex, North Carolina, Carolyn McMillan (Bill) of Hope Mills, North Carolina; and Mildred Love of Raeford, North Carolina; one sister-in-law, Corine Shaw (George) of Rex, North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
