Mr. Walter Hubert Rozier, Jr ,69, of St. Pauls, NC, was born September 20,1955 to the late Herbert and Emma Dell Rozier and entered his eternal rest on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Cape Fear Vally Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Emma Dell Rozier and a brother, Johnny L. Rozier.
Walter was born and raised in Tolarsville, NC and received his education in the Public Schools of Robeson County. Walter loved football and played for St. Pauls High School. He remained a lifelong football fan, supporting his beloved Philadelphia Eagles.
He leaves to cherish his memory: Three daughters, Latisha Forbes (Roderick) of Raleigh, NC, Jacqueline Evans-Cox(Tremaine) of St. Pauls, NC and Kentaya Rozier of Fayetteville, NC; three sons, Walter McEachern, Kenston McDowell, and Marquell Rozier (Jasmine), all of Fayetteville, NC. Two brothers, Henry Rozier of St. Pauls, NC and Craig Rozier (Trisha) of Tolarsville, NC, six sisters, Linda Rozier of Rex, NC, Carolyn Rozier, Frances McMillan (Williams), and Robin Rozier all of St. Pauls, NC, Brenda Rozier and Gladyes Montgomery, both of Tar Heel, NC.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, February 22,2025 at Second New Light Missionary Baptist Church, Purdie Hall Road, St. Pauls, NC. Visitation is Friday, February 21, 2025 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Burial will be in the Goodman Cemetery , Tar Heel, NC. The family is receiving friends at the home of Gladys Montgomery, Tar Heel NC.
