Mrs. Sarah Maultsby, 83 of Elizabeth, New Jersey formerly of St. Pauls, NC peacefully passed on Thursday, April 30, 2020. Graveside services will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Great Marsh Cemetery, St. Pauls, NC. Rev. C. J. Ross, Officiating. Viewing: Friday 12:00 - 2:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel, practicing social distancing.

Sarah Louise Cromarti-Maultsby was born on October 5, 1936 to the late William Cromartie and Bettie Brown.

Sarah was educated in Saint Pauls, North Carolina school system. After finishing school, Sarah worked at various jobs.

Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Maultsby, her only son, Daniel Jones, Jr., her sisters, Nessie Council, Mary Wilder, Donnella McBryde and Gertrude McBryde and her brother, William Cromartie, Jr.

Sarah leaves to cherish fond memories: her sisters Georgie Haywood of Lumber Bridge, North Carolina, Bettie Lyons (Carl) of Pasadena, California and Margie Ray of Elizabeth, New Jersey; a special nephew/godson, David Ray, Jr.; she also leaves many nieces, nephews and friends.
