Mr. Ronnie Jonhnson, 63 of St. Pauls peacefully passed on Monday, December 2, 2019. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 7, 2019, 11:00 am at Little Marsh Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, 301 North Martin Luther King Drive, St. Pauls, NC 28384. Viewing: Friday 1-5 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial: Rockfish Memorial Cemetery, Fayetteville, NC. The family will receive family and friend at the family home 98 Ella Mae Dr., St. Pauls, NC 28384.
On Monday evening, December 2, 2019, God sent one of his angels to visit Mr. Ronnie Johnson and bring him home. Ronnie was born January 7, 1956 to the late Verdie Burden. He was preceded in death by one sister, Melevon Burden.
Ronnie spent the majority of his life driving trucks, but his passion was for race cars.
He leaves to cherish: four sons, Andreas Caldwell, Andre Glover both of Parkton, NC, Derrick Brinson and Antonine Blalock both of St. Pauls, NC; one daughter, Tijuana Brinson of St. Pauls, NC; three grandchildren; brothers and sisters, James (Clarise), Cedric (Angelar), Grace (Charles), Alex (Arlene), Twanna (Curtis), James E. Thompson, Kim Thompson all of St. Pauls, NC, Vernette (John) of Red Springs, NC, Josephine (James), Melody (Walter) both of Fayetteville, NC, Cynethia Foulks, Janice Ray, Tonjia (Reverend Michael) all of Greensboro, NC, Ida Shipman of Rock Hill, SC, Carl (Maxine) of Shallotte, NC and Zocanise (Alejandro) of Virginia; a special friend, cornelia Glover; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
