Ricky Mckoy, passed away Friday, February 27,2026. Visitation is Friday, March 6, 2026 at McKoy and Sons Mortuary, 1:00pm -5:00pm . Celebration of Life , 11:00am , Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Bakers Creek AME Zion Church, Elizabethtown, NC

Ricky lived a life that amplified the virtues of faith, love, and family and devotion. His greatest joy and proudest achievements were his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Ricky attended Bladen County School Systems.

Ricky leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving wife of 27 years, Deborah Bain McKoy; Brothers: Gary Vincent Burden (Michelle), Shelton Burden, Ricky Kemp; Sisters: Lisa LeSane, Tiffany Turner, Penny Council- Singleton (Allen); Aunts: Marzella Guions(Enoch), Evon Smith, Ophelia Thompson (Oscar); Uncles: Albert Council (Patricia), Wilford King (Alice), Aurthur Crumb; Mother in Law: Daisy Bain; Favorite Cousin: Jennifer Crumb, an a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends we find comfort in knowing that Ricky has joined the heavenly host.
