Myrtle King Carter October 10, 1927 - September 14, 2024 (age 96)
Myrtle Carter, of Saint Pauls, NC ascended peacefully to her heavenly home on Saturday, September 14, 2024. Her devotion to her family and her passionate belief in Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior, comforted her and ultimately gave her peace. Her favorite scripture was Psalms 23, with weighted emphasis on the verse "Surely, Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life”. She embraced life with a perfect combination of sweetness, pragmatism and natural humor. She could always be counted on for sound advice when facing life's difficult circumstances.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her beloved parents Rev. L.H. King and Frances King, her husband James Cromartie, her husband Bill Carter and 7 older siblings; George, Hathaway, Fred, Vera, Pauline, Beatrice, Nellie and her son Terry Cromartie.
Myrtle leaves to cherish her memory 6 children Wandra (Marvin), Allen (Yusufha), Craig(Sharon), Tammy (Byron), Michael (Cheryl) and Penny (Michael) and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
