Mrs. Jerelene (Mahone) Ray

Mrs. Jerelene Ray, 56 of Parkton, North Carolina peacefully passed on Sunday, October 24, 2021.   A Private Memorial Service was held by the family, Friday, October 29, 2021, 5-7 pm.

Jerelene was the daughter of the late Betty Brown Mahone of Queens, NY, and Jeredine Mahone of Queens, NY.  Also her stepmom Theresa Mahone of Queens, NY.

She went to Far Rockaway High School in NY.  She went to school for cosmetologist.  She worked st Smithfield Packing Company in Tar Heel, NC and retired.

Jerelene Mahone Ray leaves behind her husband; Leonard Ray, Jr. of Parkton, NC.  Her son Johnyll Arnette (April) of Parkton, NC.  She has five sisters: Carolyn Lewis (Charles) of St. Pauls, NC, La'Shawn (Sean) Maynard of Long Island, NY, Shonda Mahone of Rochester, NY, Sharon Lomax of Queens, NY, and Deborah Lomax of Queens, NY.  She has one brother: Rodney Mahone of Rochester, NY.  She also has her father-in-law and sister-in-laws:  Brenda Melvin of Fayetteville, NC, Mary Russell of Hope Mills, NC, Phillip Ray (Elizabeth) of Raeford, NC, and Barbara Lewis (Archie) of Bladen, NC.  She also has her aunts and uncles: Neil Archie Brown of Fayetteville, NC, Robert (Brenda) Brown of Parkton, NC, Bertha Brown and Janie Brown of Parkton, NC, James Brown of Hope Mills, NC, Nathaniel Mahone of Queens, NY, and Mary Mahone of Montgomery, AL.  She has a granddaughter: Nyla M. Barton of Parkton, NC.  She has a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
