Mrs. Gladys Phydelia (King) Allen

Mrs. Gladys Allen, 88 of St. Pauls, NC peacefully passed on Saturday, March 27, 2021.  Graveside service will be Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 11:00 am at Great March Cemetery, Great Marsh Church Rd., St. Pauls, NC.  28384.  Viewing:  Friday 1:00 - 6:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive family and friends at 15510 US Hwy. 301 N., St. Pauls, NC.  28384

Daughters, Mother, Grandmothers, staunch Democrat and retired administrative professional, Gladys Allen passed peacefully away at her home on March 27, 2021 surrounded by her family after along fight with Alzheimer's and vascular dementia.  She was 88 years old.  Culminating a full life of laughter, sports, foodand family and a long heartbreaking period of physical and mental decline inflicted on her by dementia, her loved ones will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest, convening family and friends around great food, great music and of course, jokes following by laughter.
