Mrs. Dorothy A. Stephens, 70 of St. Pauls, NC peacefully passed on Thursday, December 10, 2020. Graveside Service will be Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Shiloh Cemetery, E McRainey Rd., St. Pauls, NC. Viewing will be held Friday 1:00 - 6:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.
On Thursday, December 10, 2020, God called her from her earthly journey, into a new life with him, our beloved, Dorothy McNair Stephens. Mrs. Dorothy McNair Stephens was born on March 31, 1950 to the late Jasper and Margie L. Williams. She was joined in holy matrimony to the late Billy W. Stephens.
Dorothy attended Eastside School. She joined Shilod Baptist Church at an early age, where she took on the position as the church clerk. She was a dedicated and faithful member, until God called her home. She was employed by Jensen for 20 plus years. She was also employed by McDonald's where she was the "Biscuit Making Queen", until she retired in 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy W. Stephens, her parents, Jasper and Margie Williams, Sr., four siblings, Henry (H.D.) Williams, Jasper (Jimmy) Williams, Jr., Katie Robinson, Lucy Stephens, and one grandchild, Lorenzo Stephens.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her children, Sandra (Robert) Pone of Parkton, NC, Vivian Bratcher and Shelia Stephens of St. Pauls, NC, Billy (Rosilyn) Stephens of Lumberton, NC; children in love, John (Angie) Rainey of Fayetteville, Kim Emanuel; 26 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; sisters, Betty S. Williams, Mary A. Williams and Corine Shaw; sisters in law, Vicky (Earl) Bridges, Alice (Ben) Franklin, Annie (Lee) Stephens, Faye (David) Stephens, Pam (Wayne) Carter, Queen Hines, Bernice (Delane) Stephens, brother in law, John H. Robinson; aunt, Tiny McNair; special niece, Venita Williams; special friends, Paula (Wayne) Smith, Karen (Brent) Adkins, Michelle (Curtis) Jones, Linda Williams; special neighbors, Pam (Russell) Sykes, Michelle (John) Malloy; and a host of relatives and friends.
