Obituary

Mrs. Christine Shaw, 50 of White Oak, NC peacefully passed Tuesday, May 5, 2020.  Graveside services will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at First New Light Cemetery, White Oak, NC.  Viewing : Monday, May 11, 2020  3:00 pm - 5:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel, practicing social distancing.

Christine lived a life of dignity, grace, kindness and compassion, her kind-heartedness and generosity was felt by all that knew her.  She was born on May 17, 1969 and departed this life on May 5, 2020 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center Hospital, Wilmington, NC.

Christine accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age and served the Lord with gladness and worshipped him in spirit and in truth. She was a faithful and devoted member of First New Light Missionary Baptist Church.  She served as the Pastor's Aide President, Vice President of the Usher Board.  A member of the Women's Choir, Kitchen Committee and was always always a helping hand when needed.  In 1987, Christine graduated Tar Heel High School, Tar Heel, NC.  She was employed at Rocco Plant for five years and Smithfield for 20 years.

Christine leaves to cherish and will be remembered by her Husband, Raymond Shaw (White Oak, NC) of the home.  Two step children: Chiquilla Kiera Shaw of St. Pauls, NC and Ramon D'Marco Shaw of Parkton, NC; two grandchildren: D'Miyah Shaw and Rashaud Lamar Evans.  Three Special God Children: Justin Brims (Heather) and Jasmine Brims of Englewood, NJ and Taniyah Robinson of White Oak, NC, Brother; Emanuel Robinson (Odessa) of St. Pauls, NC, Sisters; Charlene Bordeaux-Brims (Willie) of Englewood, NJ, Felicia Bordeaux of White Oak, NC and Jamesenia Hedgeprth (Clarence), Deidre Bordeaux-Davis (Reggie) all of Fayetteville, NC, A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
