Mrs. Annie Mae Hines, 91 of Bladenboro, NC peacefully passed on Monday, May 18, 2020. Graveside Services will be 1:00 PM, Sunday, May 24, 2020 at the Brooklyn Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 242, Bladenboro, NC. Viewing will be Saturday - 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel, practicing social distancing. Viewing: Sunday 12:00 - 1:00 pm at St. Luke A. M. E. Mrs. Annie Mae Brunson Hines was born January 29, 1929 to the late Emma Brunson in Bladenboro, North Carolina. She was lovingly called to rest on Monday, May 18, 2020 at Elizabethtown, North Carolina.
Though nurtured as a child in the First Baptist Church in Bladenboro, North Carolina, upon marriage she joined St. Luke A. M. E. Zion Church where she served until her health no longer permitted.
She leaves to forever cherish her legacy eight sons, Donald Hines (Vickie), Jonathan Hines (Angel), Jeffery Hines (Angie), Andrew Hines (special friend, Deborah), Harry Hines (Linda), Eric Hines (Gwen), Luther Hines (Vida), Jamie Hines and Harold Horne; two daughters, Joyce Ivy (Herschel) and Delois Hines; one son-in-law, Cornell Singletary (daughter, Pat preceded her in death); one brother, Clifton Brunson (Shirley); one brother-in-law, Nathaniel Hines; twenty-eight grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
