Mrs. Almatha "Dank" (Hill) Crawford

Mrs. Almatha Crawford, 70 of St, Pauls, NC peacefully passed on Friday, December 18, 2020.  Graveside service will be Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Goodman Cemetery, Spring Branch Rd., Tar Heel, NC.

Almatha "Dank" Crawford was born September 4, 1950 to the late James and Mary Elizabeth Hill.  She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and retired from Southeastern Medical Center and recently worked in Home Health Care.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She enjoyed sewing and shopping with her sisters.  She gained her heavenly wings on Friday, December 18, 2020 at UNC Health Southeastern Medical Center in Lumberton.  She graduated from Bladen Central High School.  Almatha confessed and accepted Christ and joined Second New Light Missionary Baptist Church, where she served faithfully.  She was proceeded in death by her parents, James and Elizabeth Hill; sisters: Cynthia Hill McDougald and Rosalyn Hill-Williams; grandchildren- Dayeon and Miracle.

Surviving to cherish her memories: loving husband of the home, Raymond Crawford; son, Raphael (Victoria) of Tar Heel; sisters: Linda Young (Cornell) of Fayetteville, Triesta Melton (Thomas) of Lumberton, and Ruby Hill-Autry (Jimmy) of Tar Heel; two brother-in-laws: Jerry McDougald of Tar Heel and Walter Williams of Fayetteville; sisters-in-laws: Mary Green of Charleston, SC and Shirley Woodard of Wilson, NC; mother-in-law: Pearl Crawford of St. Pauls; Granddaughters, NyAsia, Destiny, Ka'Monie, Ayanna, and Zareniti and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
