Mr. Willie "Buck" McDougald, 83 of Hope Mills, NC peacefully passed on Friday, October 16, 2020.  Graveside service will be Saturday, 2:00 pm at McKinnon Cemetery, St. Pauls, NC, Reverend Lance Hair, Eulogy. Viewing:  Friday 1-6 pm and visitation with the family 4-5 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.

On Friday, October 16, 2020 God summoned his angel to Hope Mills, NC to bring home his beloved son, Willie James McDougald.  He was born August 31, 1937 to the late Moreen and Janie McDougald in St. Pauls, NC.  

He was educated in St. Pauls, NC and afterwards he enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served 22 years.  He worked at the railroad in North Carolina.  He worked for Rider Trucking Company.  Then he retired when his health declined.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Victoria McDougald, two sons; Charles McDougald and Lloyd Henry McDougald, five sisters; Lillie Mae Durham, Shirley Lewis, Mable Spearman, Chestine Blue and Mable McEachern.

He leaves to cherish his precious his memories; two daughters; Betty McDougald Spears (vaughn) of Hope Mills, NC and Shelia Heart of Durham, NC, six grandchildren; Chris Spears (Tiffany), Brooke Jackson, Janmichael Whitted, Thomas, Jessica, LaTisha Heart.  20 great-grandchildren, two special friends; Ms. Eddie Shay and Mr. George Puritt and a host of other relatives and friends.
