Mr. Travis Lamont Robinson

Mr. Travis Lamont Robinson, 24 of Lumberton, NC peacefully passed on Saturday, July 24, 2021.  Graveside services will be Friday, July 30, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Elizabeth Heights Cemetery, Alexander St., Lumberton, NC  Viewing:  Friday 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Elizabeth Heights Cemetery, Lumberton, NC.

Travis Lamont Robinson was born on August 29, 1996 to Daniel D. Robinson and Bonita Hunt in Lumberton, North Carolina.  On July 24, 2021, Travis passed away peacefully at Southeastern Hospice, after a prolonged illness, with family and friends by his side.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Marissa Hunt; grandmothers, Marcie B. Hunt and Katherleen Robinson and great grandparents, Alma and Vester Robinson.

Travis graduated from Lumberton Senior High School in 2014.  He attended Floyd's Temple No. 1 United Holy Church, where he participated in the Sunshine Band Choir and YPHA.

Travis was a very hardworking young man, sometimes working two or three jobs at one time, to demonstrate his independence.  Travis also loved eating and cooking.  His talent as a cook allowed him to work at several food franchises.  His most favorite was the Waffle House.  Travis was always quiet and well-mannered, but his smile would light up the room.  Travis's dream was to become a restaurant manager.

Travis leaves to cherish his precious memories: his mother, Bonita Hunt; father, Daniel D. Robinson (Ketera); brothers, Daniel Robinson, Jr., Warren Johnson (Shallone), Preston, Dial and Nyshiq McMillan; sisters, Brittany Hunt, Katelyn Hunt and Zuri Robinson; nieces, Jealyn and Zendaya; nephews. Braylon and Marcean; aunts, Linda Robinson, Stephanie Dupree, Pammie Parker, Karen Hunt, Janet Bass, Viriginia Hunt and Marcia Hunt; uncles, Randy Robinson (Kay), Jimmy Robinson (Diante), Tobert Hunt, Thomas Hunt, David Hunt, Alfred Hunt and Roger Hunt; Chosen grandparents, Lela Lewis and Jimmy Lewis , Sr.,; special cousins, Timmy Robinson, Jimmy Jr. (Crysal), Tilden Robinson (Teresa), Jimmy Robinson, Jr. (Cindi), Antonio DuPree, Jaalien Allen (Chris), A.J. Lewis, Jon Franks, Lena Franks and Daniel Franks; special cousin and best friend, Stephen Sinclair (Renae); and a loving and supportive friend always, Summer Walter.  Travis will be deeply missed by numerous friends, co-workers, and other whose hearts he touched over the course of his young life.
