Joann Weaks

Ms. Joann Weaks, 68, of Hope Mills NC, passed away on Sunday, May 07, 2023, at her home.  Visitation and viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at McKoy and Sons Mortuary, 412 East Armfield St, St. Pauls, N.C..  Ms. Weaks will be layed to rest at the Mount Hebrews AME Zion Church Cemetery, 6845 Old Plank Rd,  Parkton, N.C. 28371 on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 12:00 noon.  Family are receiving friends at the home of Ms. Weak, 5795 Dove Drive, Hope Mills N.C.

Joann Weaks leaves to cherish memories: Daughter, La'keisha Rene Weaks of Baltimore Maryland, Son, Moses Raga Weaks (Marchea) of Hope Mills, N.C.  Four grandchildren, Quintasia  La'chelle Joy weaks, Yaniah Rena, Moses Rage Jr., Aaron Maurice, Faith Delige.  Eight sisters, Hattie Jane Weaks, Alberta Murphy (Douglas), Willie Mae Williams, Deloris Robinson(Ron) and Gladys Lee all of Fayetteville, NC., and Elizabeth Bennett, Mary Helen Gardner of Parkton NC, and Betty Ann Snow of Hyattsville Maryland.  Two sister in laws, Eaner Weaks of Washington DC, and Yvonne Weaks of Lumber Bridge NC.
