On Thursday, January 30th, 2025, God called Harry Glover Jr to heaven. Harry was born in Lumberton NC. He was the son of the late Joann Glover and William Lenord.
He graduated from St. Pauls High School in 1979. After high school he worked with his father with the family fencing business. Then later on in life he attended Blaton truck driving school and became a trucker for Wingate Taylor-Made. He was truly a hard worker and showed so much compassion for everything he loved, although life took a turn in the year of 2000, he was involved in a motorcycle accident, however he still kept his faith strong and overcame that obstacle like he would do anything he was faced with in his life. He was a loving soul that didn’t mind helping his family or anyone he felt was in need he was truly a bright light in any space he entered and will truly be missed.
Harry leaves to cherish his memories: four children, Jarques Williams of Hope Mills, NC, Dr. Taquanna Kemp of Atlanta GA, Saquann Glover of St. Pauls, NC and Porsha Glover of Fayetteville, NC; his father, Harry Moody of Philadelphia, PA; eight beautiful grandchildren; seven siblings, Joetha Glover of St. Pauls, NC, Micheal (Della) Glover of St. Pauls, NC, Graig (Betsy) Glover of St. Pauls, NC, Karen (William) Cogdell of St. Pauls, NC, Daryl Glover of St. Pauls, NC, Katrina Moody of Philadelphia, PA and Jasmine Moody of Philadelphia, PA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. A very special thank you to his neighbor Wanda Snow and also to L’dayah Ramsey of Touch of A Healing Hand for taking special care of Mr. Harry Glover daily.
