Ella Mae Priest

Mrs Ella Mae Priest, 63 of St. Pauls NC, Funeral service will be held  1:00 pm Thursday, January 05, 2022, at the United Plain Truth Church, 2704 NC-20, Tar Heel, NC. 28392.  Burial will take place in the United Plain Truth Church  Cemetery.  Family will be receiving friends at the home of Mr. Joe Priest, 178 Rozierville Road, St. Pauls NC 28384

On Friday December 30, 2022, Ella Priest of St.  Pauls, North Carolina received her wings and went  peacefully in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus  Christ.  Ella was born on December 2, 1959 to the late James and Minnie Rozier. Ella attended Tar Heel High  School and later received her CNA license at Bladen.

She began her Christian ministry at Millers United  Methodist and later became a member of United  Plain Truth Holiness Church. Ella worked faithfully  and diligently in the church and in the community  until her health began to fail.   

She leaves to cherish her memories to: her loving  husband of 46 years, Joe Priest; two sons, Derrick  (Ashley) and Fredrick (Jamesanna); her sister,  Priscilla Faye Rozier; three brothers, Noah, Lendard  (Brenda) and Wallace (Regina); her sisters-in-law,  Pauline Rozier, Thelma Gilbert, Mammie Rozier and  Lizzie McMillan (Earl); brother-in-law, Lee Priest;  a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and a special  goddaughter, Wenda.
