Alton D. Cogdell

Mr. Alton D. Cogdell, age 65, departed this life on November 18, 2017.  Services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Shiloh Baptist Church, St. Pauls, NC.  One hour viewing will be held before service.  Burial will be held at Rock Fish Cemetery in  Fayetteville, NC.  Friends will be received at the home of Ms. Essie Neal Cogdell, 207 N. Maple Street, St. Pauls, NC

Those left to cherish his memories are: his mother, Essie R. Cogdell of the home; a daughter, Venita R. Williams of the home; two sons, MSG Nikata (JoAnn) McBryde of Grorgia and MSG Lorenza (Petra) Williams of Virginia; a niece, Andradese Rozier of St. Pauls, NC; nine grandchildren, Nakeisha, Yasmine, Antonio, Antwan, Javicz, Patrick, Nikata, Jr., Vanessa and Dominic; several great grandchildren; a special friend, Roy "Skip" Birch; and a host of family and friends..
