She married the love of her life, the late Willie Lee Washington and raised four children from this union.

Surviving to cherish her memorials are: two sons, Eugene (Naomi) Washington of Lumberton, NC and Orlando (Nancy) Washington of Garner, NC; two daughters, Karen (Dwight)

Thompson of Hope Mills, NC and Shelia Washington of  Durham, NC; one sister, Francis Coleman of Lumberton, NC, Berlester (Zetta) Caldwell of Lumberton, NC; six sisters-in-law, Carolyn Rawls of Fayetteville, NC, Effie Washington of Durham, NC, Mae Washington of Fayetteville, NC, Katie Washington of Chapel Hill, NC and Jimmie Ellis of Leesville, LA; nine grandchildren, Maya, Dontrell, De'Aren, Gregory, Courtney, Denzell, Jason, O'Lancia and Orlanzel; six great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two special nieces, Janice Coleman of Lumberton, NC and Delores (James) Johnson of Upper Marlboro, MD; one special nephew, James Caldwell of Rahway, NJ; other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
