Cassandra McLean Obituary

Ms. Cassandra Evette McLean, 39 of Lumberton, NC peacefully passed on Monday, December 9, 2019.  Funeral services will be Sunday, December 15, 2019, 2:00 pm at Floyd's Temple #1  UH Church, 2946 Regan Church Rd., Lumberton, N.C. , Bishop James W. Brooks, Pastor.  Viewing: Saturday 1 - 5 pm. in the Funeral Home Chapel.   Burial:  Floyd Temple Cemetery, Lumberton, N.C.  The family will receive family and friends at 269 Blue Jay Dr., Lumberton, NC  28358.

Cassandra Evette McLean was born October 9, 1980 in Durham, North Carolina and entered into rest on December 9, 2019 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center, Lumberton, North Carolina.

Cassandra joined Floyd's Temple #1 Holiness Church at an early age where she was a faithful member.  She served on the Junior Choir and the Mass Choir.

Cassandra received her education at several schools in Robeson County.  She attended East Robeson Elementary, Littlefield Middle and Lumberton High.

Cassandra was preceded in death by her step-father, Clarence Taylor, her grandparents and several great aunts and great uncles.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Sara Taylor of the home, father, Dexter Wise of Atlanta, a daughter, Graceona McLean and two sons, Hezekiah McLean and Joseph McLean all of the home, god brother, Terrance Lesane of Tar Heel, NC;  three sisters, Charita Salcedo of Maryland, Rose Marie Sutton of New Bern, NC, Alana Wise of Atlanta;  two brothers, Dexter Junior Wise and Clarence Wise of Atlanta;  grandmother, Marie Wise of Vanceboro, NC, step grandparents; Willie and Betty Chambers of Burlington, NC, two aunts: Armatha Davis of Kinston, NC, Teresa Taylor of Floridia,  three uncles: Edmond McLean of Loris, SC, Lee McLean of Lumberton, NC, William McLean of Georgia, three great aunts: Lilliie Mae Melvin, Armatha Robinson both of Lumberton, NC, Elnora Scales of NY, a great Uncle Jim Thompson of Loris, SC and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.  A special friend, George Sinclair.
